Headquarters Hairdressing Academy offers a wide range of training to suit every students needs.  Both full time and part time programmes are available as well as 1 and 2 day programmes.  The Academy prides itself in delivering

excellence and quality  in all areas of training.

 

Foundation Skills in Hairdressing  Study towards the National certificate in hairdressing (Salon Support) as well as attaining credits in hairdressing foundation units.  Full time 43 weeks. Fully subsidised by the TEC. Entry Criteria applies.

 

 

Certificate in Hairdressing Skills Study towards the National certificate in hairdressing (practice), Covers units in Level 1 and 2 + 40 credits at level 3.  Complete the National certificate in Salon support along the way. Full time 42 weeks. Loans and allowances available through StudyLink

 

 

Certificate in Hairdressing Continue to study towards the National certificate in hairdressing (practice), Covers all units at level 3.  Full time 27 weeks. Loans and allowances available through StudyLink.

 

 

Certificate in Advanced Hairdressing  Finish studying towards the National certificate in hairdressing (practice), Covers units in Level 4.  Full time 20 weeks. Loans and allowances available through StudyLink.

 

 

Off Job Training In conjunction with the Hairdressing ITO, employer  and apprentice you will be directed to attend training either on a block programme or on a Day release programme.  Subsidised by HITO.

 

 

 

STAR and Gateway If you are interested in Hairdressing as a career then these programmes through your high school are an opportunity to explore the hairdressing industry.  Work towards obtaining credits in the Hairdressing Foundation units.

 

Upskilling Programmes designed to assist hairdressers back into the hairdressing industry, extra training for an apprentice or general catch up on new techniques.  Tailor made just for you

 

2757 Ideas and Information Seminars designed to assist final year apprentices to plan and complete the final assessment.  A great way to find out what to do and what not.  Suitable for anyone who wishes to complete their qualification.
